Bangladesh observed National Disaster Preparedness day on 10th March with the joint initiative of Disaster Management Department under Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief of Bangladesh Government in participation of government and Non-Government Organizations in 2019 where there was participation of Muslim Aid.
The National Disaster Preparedness Day (NDPD) was observed across the country with emphasis on expediting disaster preparedness programmes among the people and making them well equipped for lowering the risk of natural calamities.
